ColourRiot is a creative community outreach, and was established to bring colour back into people’s lives.

The aim being to help you realise through using creative tools the unique potential and voice you have to inject colour in to the lives of friends, families and the community, weather you believe yourself to be creative or not.

ColourRiot was granted CIC (Community Interest Company) status in 2015, and since that time they have run a number of creative courses and workshops; Including the 3 street art murals on the premises of Highway Community Centre and on Swallow Court next door.

There are 2 sessions that run each week:

Quiet Riot: Thursday evenings 7pm-9pm. Aims to develop your inspiration and explore your creativity, with a little starter to get you in the zone and then a starting point, to give you a focus for the evening. Including masterclass workshops and collaborative projects.

Family Riot: Friday mornings 10.30am-1pm. Open to all, where the focus is a multi-generational family atmosphere. With freestyle and collaborative spaces, a make it space and masterclass workshops.
