This week, continuing our series on Acts, Tim takes us to the events of Acts 11, and talks on the importance of good theology.
This was the first gentile Church, and Paul had to deal with a problem that stays with us today; the urge to put in hierarchies, and promote ourselves above others. This was a foundational place for the early Church, and it was here that the followers of Jesus were first called ‘Christians’.
But Paul’s main concern was theology for this new Church. What key principles did Paul instill in this vital Church? What principles would you put in?
